oh mannnn guys its time to awaken this blog la.
Anyway, just to awaken this space, I'm currently on student exchange at the University of Guelph, which is in Canada. And I went dog sledding a while ago.
Really fun, and I came out of that experience smelling utterly of dog. I think my gloves are permanently ruined =| But it was an absolutely amazing experience - we stayed overnight in the bush, and it was my first time camping in winter. Gotta say that it isn't as cold as it sounds. But it was really tiring I must say, especially since I'm quite the lazy bum when it comes to exercise. Dog sledding is a lot more work than you'd think...
the title says it all...
hello!!
khengwee! put some photos of your party on the class blog... it's a bit stagnant again...
anyway, since i got back, i've been attached to pei hwa sec school... did abit of teaching, alot of class observations, followed teachers around like i was their shadow... finally ended my attachment yesterday, and then went down to moe HQ today for a debrief. guess who i met at HQ??
MRS TAN! yah remember our j1 gp tutor who i think struck quite a bit of fear in a certain giant in our class?? haha yeah... she still looks the same, speaks the same... though she thought i was huilin...
and then yesterday when i went back to HC for warwick school promotion, i saw mr wong! yes our dear CT... i must say everytime i see him, he looks like he's shrunk quite a bit!
so yeah, that's just some updates about life so far...
and something that will hopefully make u laugh, courtesy of some of the students in my school:
Teacher: I want you all to go home and tell your parents you love them.
[Teacher was trying to impart some morals to sec 2 students]
Student A: Teacher, my father got heart attack one leh...
Student B: Teacher, my mother will ask me if I want extra pocket money...
-_- kids nowadays.....
Hello folks! So on the 1st of June, I turned freaking 21! But of course, I celebrated it early on the 31st of May, and thanks alot to all of you who gave me face and turned up at the rather boring and stuffy party of mine! And to all those abroad who couldn't make and all others who couldn't make it as well, really wished you guys could be here as well. But oh well, I guess we'll meet up some other time then!
